May 7th, 2000. 65 year-old Mary Ann Stephens was shot in the head in front of her husband. Roughly an hr and half later, 15 year-old Brenton Butler was arrested, being identified by Stephens' husband, had all evidence going against him, and worse yet, he signed a letter in which he admitted his crime. To others, it was just another case of a young man's life went wasted by making bad decisions. For lawyer Patrick McGuinnes, it's a case full of unanswered questions. McGuinnes found out that Butler insisted on his innocence while stated that his bruises in the face and throat are came from phsyical beating by none other than the son of Nat Glover - Chief Police officer of Jacksonville, Florida. While the rest of the world had pleaded Butler guilty, McGuiness went on a legal war to defend Butler's innocence.
